Interactive Exhibition
and Panel Discussion, Aug 5th 2017

An interactive exhibition featuring the work of a variety of creatives, and a panel discussion with young adults in charitable fields. This event brought a community people together in a new and interactive way breaking down the barriers between artist and audience. 

 

The audience could also interact with the exhibition, and contribute their thoughts to art pieces dotted around the space.

Exhibition:

Featuring creatives who produced a piece around one of seven themes - Absence, Change, Colour, Happiness, Life, Revolution or Self.

Each theme had a related question which the audience could answer via post-it note.

Panel Discussion:
Featuring young activists and innovators discussing their work, how they got involved, and what barriers they overcame to get there.

  • Kareem Dayes, Chair and Trustee at RUSS group - Developing sustainable places and ways of life in London.

  • Shomi Williams, Founder of Lafiya Health - A platform to promote physical and mental well-being in African and Caribbean communities.

  • Margarita Hernandez, Project coordinator at Latin American Womens Rights Service
